- Angel Gomes made his debut for Manchester United under Jose Mourinho
- The player has not been able to break into the starting line-up since then
- He is expected to leave the club having failed to agree on a new contract
Angel Gomes is on the verge of exiting Manchester United after he failed to agree on a new deal with the Old Trafford club with the manager confirming the youngster will leave.
The 19-year-old is expected to leave at the end of June when his contract expires as he failed to finalise on new contract terms with the Red Devils.
It was gathered that Gomes was offered a new deal, but he and his representatives could not agree with the terms, and thus, he will now leave on free transfer.
Manager of the club Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has earlier said that he hoped the player agrees to the new terms, but the boss has changed his tune as regards the player.
Asked if Gomes would be staying at Old Trafford, Solskjaer replied: “I’ve got no news, nothing, so it doesn't look like it.”
Gomes made his debut for United during the 2016/2017 season when he came off the bench against Crystal Palace in Jose Mourinho’s final game for club.
He has been part of the first team set-up and has only managed to play three European League games, and since return of football due to the pandemic, he was not listed for any of United’s three games so far.
Pushed further on whether the player would be leaving Solskjaer added: “I've not heard from them last night or this morning, it seems like they haven't managed to agree so the answer is probably short and yes, then.”

Prophet TB Joshua is known worldwide as a Man of God who heals and also does miracles in which countless of people visit his church every day.
In the video which is believed to have been taken in 2017, Manchester United star Angel Gomes was seen talking about how injuries had affected his playing career.
The Englishman explained that he has not enjoyed his playing career because of injury and that masterminded his decision to travel down to Nigeria to see the Man of God.
