There is joy among members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) following the decision of the members of the sacked National Working Committee (NWC) to drop the idea of challenging their dismissal in court.

A National Executive Council meeting called by ousted self-proclaimed acting chairman, Victor Giadom and overseen by President Muhammadu Buhari, sacked the NWC on Thursday, June 25.

The Nation reports that Mallam Waziri Bulama, the National Secretary of the party in the sacked exco, revealed this on Friday, June 26.

Bulama said the sacked NWC have decided to put the interest of the party first and above their own. This, he said, means no going to court or challenging the process that led to their removal.

"We will cooperate with Buni’s committee which will organize a convention in the next six months,” Bulama said.
