Manchester City have completed the signing of 16-year-old attacking midfielder Josh Adam who will be moving to the Etihad stadium from Celtic academy.
This latest signing by the Citizens comes less than 24 hours after they were beaten by Chelsea which gave Liverpool the 2019/20 Premier League title.
According to the report on UK Sun, Manchester City faced serious competition from clubs in Germany and England for them to get the signing of Josh Adam.
But Pep Guardiola and his coaching crew will have to wait till the summer before they can finally set their eyes on Josh Adam who has been dubbed as the new 'Lionel Messi'.
Adam caught their eye when he dazzled for Celts at the Marc Overmars tournament in Holland and was named player of the competition.
The news will come as a bitter blow to the Hoops having lost another top prospect, but they can still produce more youngsters for bigger clubs to sign.
Meanwhile, Manchester City will now be focusing on the Champions League after losing this term's Premier League title to Liverpool.
Guardiola and his wards will hope they overcome Real Madrid in the Champions League for them to fight on this term in the competition.
