Marco van Ginkel has been offered a fresh one-year-contract by Chelsea football club of England despite that the player has spent last eight seasons on loan spells.
Injury has limited the player’s shine at the Stamford Bridge club but the club confirmed that he will remain their player until 2021.
The 27-year-old Dutch international joined the in 2013 from Vitesse and made an instant impact as he played four straight games before a nagging cruciate injury halted his career at the club.

Van Ginkel returned to England during the 2015/2016 season when he joined Stoke City on loan and then moved to joining his homeland team PSV Eindhoven in the mid-season.
Chelsea have also joined Spanish La Liga side Real Madrid in serious race to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger Kai Havertz by reportedly offering massive sum of £80 million.
Chelsea gaffer Frank Lampard is doing all his possible best to make sure that the Blues have good legs on ground before the next Premier League season starts.
But the former England international will have to make sure that the Blues qualify for next Champions League which will attract more players to want to play for Chelsea.
According to the report on UK Sun, Chelsea want to sign the 21-year-old Germany international for a five-year deal which will make him the Blues' player for a long term.
Real Madrid on the other hand are said to have offered Bayer Leverkusen £72 million for them to sign Kai Havertz this summer. Los Blancos manager Zidane also wants to sign Kai Havertz on a five-year deal.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Willian and Pedro will not be leaving Chelsea at the end of June when their respective contracts expire.
The attacking duo have agreed with the Blues to stay until the current Premier League season ends in July.
However, both the Brazilian and the Spaniard will not participate in Chelsea's Champions League campaign in August.
