Just recently, Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, was on the lips of social media fans for the umpteenth time over one of his new songs.

In a new track titled Wonderful, the self-acclaimed African Giant compared himself to influential Nigerian, Adebayo Ogunlesi.

In the song, Burna said: “As I dey hustle like Adebayo Ogunlesi, No go talk say me I too lazy.”

Interestingly, this made many of his fans curious to find out who Adebayo was and discovered that he is a Nigerian lawyer and investment banker. He is also the owner of Gatwick Airport, the second busiest airport in the UK and the ninth busiest in Europe.

Ogunlesi reportedly studied at Kings College in Lagos and was also a lecturer at Harvard Law School and Yale School. He also reportedly clerked for the late Supreme Court justice, Thurgood Marshall.

However, one Zamir Tesfaye, seemed to have a different opinion. He said that Burna Boy is not the reason people know who Adebayo Ogunlesi is.

Just recently, reported that South African singer, Sho Madjozi, claimed Burna Boy took down the remix of Own It because he was threatened by her.

According to the John Cena crooner, this happened after they were both nominated for Best International Act in the 2020 BET awards.
