Liverpool confirm Lallana and Clyne are among 8 stars leaving the club

- Liverpool won the Premier League at the expense of Manchester City

- The Reds have officially released eight players as they say goodbye to Anfield

- Adam Lallana and Nathaniel Clyne are among players released by the club

English Premier League champions Liverpool have stated that eight players including Nathaniel Clyne, Adam Lallana will leave the club.

The departures of the long-standing duo have been confirmed by the club as a list of six other players that will now leave the Anfield side has been released.

Clyne joined the Reds from Southampton in 2015, while 32-year-old Lallana moved to the Reds in 2014 also from the Saints.

SunSport are reporting that Clyne will now depart Liverpool on June 30 as his contract was not renewed, but Lallana on the other hand completed a short-term extension and will now remain at the club until the end of this Premier League campaign.

Other players to leave the club are Andy Lonergan, Kai McKenzie-Lyle, Daniel Atherton, Isaac Christie-Davies and Jack Walls.

A Liverpool fan identified as Tony has however sensationally begged the Reds' manager Jurgen Klopp to sign Arsenal star Mesut Ozil whom he sees as a good addition to boost the club's midfield.

Klopp and his men are currently topping the Premier League table with 23 points and they have now won the Premier League title for this season after waiting for 30 years.

So far this term in the English topflight, Liverpool have suffered only one defeat which was the same way they finished last season with only one loss.
