A petrol station in Alagbaka part of Akure, Ondo state, recently suffered an armed robbery attack by some gunmen.

In a video shared to Twitter by @YemieFASH, the CCTV captured the moment the gunmen attacked the petrol station, killing one petrol attendant and leaving the other injured.

@YemieFASH added that the Anti-cultism unit of the Police Force in Akure apprehended two of the armed robbers involved in the robbery.

Only a few weeks ago, a video has emerged in which seven armed robbers could be seen scaling a fence and breaking into homes to rob occupants. Legit.ng notes that the men, who were armed with machetes, were captured by a Closed Circuit Television (CCTV).

Some reports claimed the incident happened in Abuja on Saturday, May 16, while others said it happened in Yola, Adamawa state. After the robbery incident, there was blood on the floor of the compound, which indicated that the victims were injured in the course of the robbery.

In other news, eight police officers were killed on Thursday, June 4, when a gang of suspected armed robbers attacked a bank in the Isanlu area of Kogi state.
