Amid the current leadership crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria's former vice president Atiku Abubakar appears to have thrown a subtle shade at the ruling party.
Legit.ng gathered that the former presidential candidate took a swipe at the APC saying the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been an example of the order and constitutionality needed to sustain genuine democracy in Nigeria.
Atiku who disclosed this on his various social media platform on Thursday, June 25, added that a political party without law and order cannot provide law and order to the country.

He went on to pray that the order, discipline, and constitutionality PDP as a party has exemplified, should guide other political parties.

Granting an order of perpetual injection in a suit filed by Dele Moses, the high court in Port Harcourt presided over by Justice Florence Fiberesima ruled that Victor Giadom has no right to parade himself as a member of the APC's National Working Committee (NWC).
The court also issued an order restraining the Giadom, the deputy national secretary of the ruling party, from acting in the capacity of the acting national chairman.
In a related development, despite a court order on Thursday, June 18, Giadom is still unwilling to refrain from referring to himself as the party's acting national chairman.
In a letter to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Giadom stated that his authority as the acting national chairman of the ruling party was confirmed by an order of a high court in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
