Police officers have denied Waziri Bulama, the national secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), access to the party's secretariat in Abuja.
The security agents who earlier arrived the ruling party's national secretariat and sealed it off did not allow Bulama to enter the building, The Nation reports.
Offended by this, the aggrieved APC chieftain said: “I came here this morning to resume work and met policemen who said they have instructions from above to seal the secretariat.

“I have called the commissioner of police and he said he is sending a senior officer to see what is happening.
“The workers of the secretariat are servicing over 16 million members of this party across Nigeria. They are like civil servants.”

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) had explained why it sealed off the national secretariat of the APC in Abuja on Tuesday, June 23.
The NPF's public relations officer, DCP Frank Mba, told journalists that officers were deployed to the party's office to avoid a breakdown of law and order by some rival factions.
Mba made it clear that the presence of policemen is not a barrier to normal and official activities at the ruling party's secretariat.
He said: "Members of the APC as well staff of the secretariat are therefore at liberty to conduct their legitimate businesses, in and around the secretariat as always.”
The Inspector-General of Police Mohammed Adamu had ordered policemen to seal off the national secretariat of the APC in Abuja.
The police boss gave the order on Tuesday, June 23, ahead of his meeting with two opposing camps of the party's National Working Committee (NWC) at the force headquarters by 1pm.
Sources said the IGP’s order was handed down through the FCT commissioner of police to the APC chief security officer.
