- Kai Havertz could be making a move to Chelsea at the end of the season
- But the Blues have not made any official statement on if they will sign him
- The Germany international is also a target for Spanish giants Real Madrid
Premier League giants Chelsea have joined Spanish La Liga side Real Madrid in serious race to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger Kai Havertz by reportedly offering massive sum of £80 million.
Chelsea gaffer Frank Lampard is doing all his possible best to make sure that the Blues have good legs on ground before the next Premier League season starts.
But the former England international will have to make sure that the Blues qualify for next Champions League which will attract more players to want to play for Chelsea.
According to the report on UK Sun, Chelsea want to sign the 21-year-old Germany international for a five-year deal which will make him the Blues' player for a long term.
Real Madrid on the other hand are said to have offered Bayer Leverkusen £72 million for them to sign Kai Havertz this summer.
Los Blancos manager Zidane also wants to sign Kai Havertz on a five-year deal.
Interestingly, Bayer Leverkusen chiefs are said to be ready to allow Kai Havertz to leave their side this summer for only £90 million which the Blues or Real Madrid might not want to pay.
Kai Havertz who has been playing for Bayer Leverkusen for the past ten years has two more years on his deal with the German side.
Havertz fueled transfer speculation last week when he appeared to 'like' a tweet asking for Chelsea to sign him.

And the club who have already made it through to the quarter finals of the Champions League for the first time in their history have now confirmed the Croatian midfielder has done enough to earn himself a deal.
Atalanta made the confirmation on their social media page that the deal for Palasic has been completed.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that a massive £13.5m will go to the Blues despite not making an appearance for them, while Croatian side Hadjuk Split will get £3m.
