After weeks of internal fighting in the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Muhammadu Buhari has finally made his position known by backing Victor Giadom as acting national chairman of the party.
This was disclosed in a tweet by presidential spokesman Garba Shehu on Wednesday, June 24.
According to Shehu, the president would attend the virtual meeting called by Giadom on Thursday, June 25.
Garba Shehu said the president took the position after receiving convincing advice on the position of the law as far as the party is concerned.
The president consequently declared that the law is on the side of Giadom as the acting national chairman.
