Bayern Munich attacking midfielder Thiago Alcantara is reportedly interested in joining English Premier League club Liverpool as his current deal with the Bundesliga giants expires in 2021.
The 29-year-old is reportedly in talks with his current club and according to Sport Bible, both parties are close to reaching an agreement and the player may eventually leave the German club.
Thiago who is valued around £43 million wants a possible Liverpool switch German outlet Bild understands, and it is believed that he shared his interests with Bayern during the discussion.

Jurgen Klopp spoke glowingly about Thiago after Liverpool played Bayern Munich in the Champions League last season.
"I've probably never seen them defend like that," he said.
"Respect to them as they made it difficult for us, although we had good situations where we missed the last touch.
"Thiago is a world-class footballer. He played that deep-lying playmaker role very well. Alongside (Javi) Martinez, they were very good."
Meanwhile, a Liverpool fan identified as Tony has sensationally pleaded with the Reds' manager Jurgen Klopp to sign Arsenal star Mesut Ozil whom he sees as a good addition to boost the club's midfield.
Klopp and his men are currently topping the Premier League table with 20 points and they are on the verge of winning the title for this season after waiting for 30 years.
So far this term in the English topflight, Liverpool have suffered only one defeat which was the same way they finished last season with only one loss.
