An astonishing video of World Cup legend Diego Maradona dropping his pants as he dances with former girlfriend Veronica Ojeda has emerged.

Maradona was celebrating the 34th anniversary of his iconic Hand of Goal against England during the 1986 World Cup.

The former Napoli and Barcelona forward netted two goals during the tournament to dump England out of the competition.

In a footage shared on Twitter, Maradona can be seen flashing his backside as he dances to Cumbia, a broad genre of popular music common among Afro-Colombian populations.

The controversial video thought not to be a recent one has already been flagged up by Spanish TV and newspapers.

SunSport citing sources in Argentina reports the person who may have leaked the footage is a well-known journalist.

Maradona's life since retiring from football has been characterised by a string of scandals stemming from drug and alcohol abuse.

He is currently managing Argentinian top-tier side Gimnasia which escaped relegation after the league was suspended due to coronavirus pandemic.
