- Anthony Joshua has been tipped to triumph over Tyson Fury in fight
- The prediction was made by ex American boxer Bernard Hopkins
- Hopkins stated that Joshua will win in rematch as the first duel will end in draw
Former American professional boxer Bernard Hopkins has predicted that Nigerian-British boxer Anthony Joshua will beat Tyson Fury when they both meet in boxing fight.
Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua have never met in the ring in their rich boxing careers so far in which they have been tipped to face each other.
No doubt, the encounter will be one of the toughest fight in the history of boxing if it happens considering their records and achievements so far in the game.
Fury has never been defeated by any opponent in his career, while Anthony Joshua has lost once when he was beaten by Andy Ruiz.
Bernard Hopkins who competed from 1988 to 2016 in boxing is now pitching his tent with Anthony Joshua claiming that the first tie with Fury will end in draw before winning the rematch.
"It’ll be a draw and they’ll fight a second time and the second time Joshua would beat him. I’m going to go with this one. The first fight is going to be a draw, I’m telling you.
"The second fight Joshua wins, but the first fight will be a draw because it’s going to be hard to score and that’s when the controversy comes in with who got the rounds,'' he told iFL TV.
But before the fight would hold, Tyson Fury will first face Deontay Wilder in a big trilogy while Anthony Joshua will battle against Kubrat Pulev.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Tyson Fury's boxing team are now reportedly planning to convince American boxer Deontay Wilder to step down in his third term bid to fight the British world champion.
Recently, Tyson Fury defeated Deontay Wilder in which the American sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital after the fight.
It was even a member of his coaching crew who had to throw in the towel for the referee to end the match thereby declaring Tyson Fury the winner.
But Deontay Wilder has clause in his fight with Tyson Fury and he has activated that trilogy fight with the Brit.
Fury's camp are so interested in seeing their client facing Anthony Joshua so as for the scores to be settled between two of them.
