Several parents around the world celebrated Father’s Day on Sunday, June 21, and former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) star Gifty Powers was among many who celebrated on social media.
The reality star in a post shared on her verified Instagram account penned a sweet note to herself while making it clear that she is the only one taking the sole responsibility of raising her daughter.
Gifty said she has been the best and only father to her child since she came into the world. She also appreciated God for giving her the strength to do it all alone.
"I have been the best and only father to my beautiful daughter from the second she was born till this very minute, and that has been a giant blessing to my life. I am grateful to God first and my family for the constant support and unbreakable strength," the ex-BBNaija lady wrote.
In a different portion of her post, she wished all the single mother's a happy Father’s Day while sharing some comforting words with them.

Gifty said: "Happy Father's Day to all the strong mothers out there. I know how you feel, It might not be what you've planned or desired but always remember that God is working on your behalf, even when you don't see it, just know he's working, even when you don't feel, he's still working."
