Manchester City are preparing a massive bid for Bayer Leverkusen’s dazzling winger Leon Bailey following his impressive form this season so far.

Premier League clubs Manchester United and Chelsea are also desperate in landing the 22-year-old Jamaican international as reports from Germany say the youngster is interested in moving to England.

With Pep Guardiola unable to convince Leroy Sane to extend his contract with the Etihad side, City boss is now said to be in hot chase of Bailey.

It was gathered that Sane rejected an extension to his contract on multiple occasions and he has been out of action since he featured in the Community Shield back in August.

City could come out with a net gain of around £10m if they offload Sane, as Bailey may be available for a fee in the region of £40m.

Bailey is competent on either flank and has bagged five goals and three assists in 20 Bundesliga appearances this season.
