- James Rodriguez's countryman Faustino Asprilla is not happy with Zidane keeping him on the bench
- The Colombian legend believes the former Monaco star has been too patient with the Real Madrid boss
- Rodriguez has only made 13 appearances in all competition in the 2019-20 campaign
James Rodriguez does not deserve the treatment he is getting from Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, Colombian legend Faustino Asprilla claims.
The 28-year-old had a loan spell at Bayern Munich and he has only managed to feature for Zidane's side 13 times this season.
The former Monaco midfielder was an unused substitute during Los Blancos win over Eibar and Valencia since action resumed from three months break.

And Rodriguez's fellow countryman and former Newcastle striker Asprilla believes the 2014 World Cup Golden Boot winner was far too patient with Zidane.
"James isn't irresponsible," the Colombia legend told Blu Radio. "He trains every day just like everyone else.
"The coaches say that all players are the same to give motivation to substitutes, but they have three or four who always play. At Real Madrid, there are players who come from lower down and who come up.
"Don't tell me that the top scorer of a World Cup is below Mariano or whoever in the pecking order.
"There's a need for a little respect. James is patient, but I would tell Zidane to 'eat sh*t'."
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Zinedine Zidane was left stunned when Karim Benzema scored a contender for goal of the season in Real Madrid's 3-0 win over Valencia.
Los Blancos put up a brilliant second-half display to score three goals after a shaky start to the match at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium.
Benzema combined well with Eden Hazard to score the first while Marco Asensio jabbed-in the second 31 seconds after coming in as a substitute.
Legit.ng also reported that Zinedine Zidane was furious with his players after a poor second-half display against Eibar at the Alfredo di Stefano Stadium, reports in Spain claim.
Los Blancos finished the first half with a 3-0 comfortable lead before Eibar dominated most of the proceedings in the second half.
Real conceded a goal on the hour mark and it took some brilliant saves from Thibaut Courtois to still keep the two-goal advantage.
