Dolores Aviero, the mother of Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo, has penned a heartwarming tribute to her grandson Junior who clocked 10 on May 17, 2020.

Aveiro had in 2010, brought the baby to Portugal after he was born in an American clinic and as the dad was busy with his career.

In a biography in 2014, the grandmother told how she went to Florida to pick up Cristiano Jr and that was when the father was representing Portugal at the 2010 Fifa World Cup in far away South Africa.

And over a decade after, the identity of Cristiano Jr.’s mother is still a major secret held by the family.

However as he clocks ten on Wednesday, the delighted and proud Aviero said the child is destined for the family.

She wrote: “Ten years have passed since the first time I picked you up, still with a weak cry and almost closed eyes.

“You nestled in my lap and gave a new meaning to my life, and at that moment I felt a love that I will never be able to explain.

“May God grant you many years of my love, may God allow you always to be that sweet, humble and affectionate boy and one of my reasons for being.”

“Happy birthday love of his grandmother's life.”

And Ronaldo himself took to Twitter to wish his son a happy birthday, as the Portuguese superstar's eldest child Cristiano Jr, turns 10.

The former Real Madrid striker says he doesn't believe his ten years already as he also affirm his love for him.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Hector Bellerin has been known for his kind gesture in giving, now the Arsenal star has promised to plant trees for every win until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old right-back took to his social media handle and vowed to plant 3,000 tree on every win his team records to help carbon emissions issues.

Arsenal have a big task at hand in taking on Man City in their first Premier League fixture in three months after the pandemic.

And with ten matches left for the Gunners to play and possible up to four FA Cup matches, it means Bellerin would have planted 30,000 trees if they win at least ten of their games.
