Angel Gomes: Manchester United star visits TB Joshua for healing

Manchester United attacking midfielder Angel Gomes has been spotted in a video trending on social media on how he visited Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua in his Synagogue Church of all Nations in Lagos.

Prophet TB Joshua is known worldwide as a Man of God who heals and also does miracles in which countless of people visit his church every day.

In the video which is believed to have been taken in 2017, Manchester United star Angel Gomes was seen talking about how injuries had affected his playing career.

The Englishman explained that he has not enjoyed his playing career because of injury and that masterminded his decision to travel down to Nigeria to see the Man of God.

Gomes made it clear that his parents are fans of TB Joshua stressing that all his family watch the Man of God on television always.

“I’ve been having injuries around my hip and groin which have been affecting me playing. I also suffered ankle injury not long ago which kept me out for a long time.

“These injuries would come at hard times for me, times when I was having a breakthrough or times when I had to go to a tournament or playing games, these injuries would happen quite frequently,'' Gomes spoke in front of the congregation.

After explaining his problems in front of the congregation, Prophet TB Joshua laid his hand on the Manchester United star where he stated that he felt a little shock when the Man of God touched him.

Earlier, had reported how Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford thanked his mother for the sacrifice she made which helped him get into the Red Devils' youth team when he was 11.

The striker explained that his mother Melanie pushed for Manchester United to admit him into the youth team at the age of 11 even though the program was meant for 12-year-old above.

Rashford while speaking with BBC claimed that Manchester United chiefs then considered the pleas of his mother and allow him to join the youth team.

He added that growing up was not easy for him considering the fact that his mother was a single parent and had five children to take care of.

The England international added that the challenges he faced while growing up is the rationale that is making him to help people who are suffering.
