- Barcelona vs Leganes went in favour of La Liga champions courtesy of goals from Ansu Fati and Lionel Messi
- The visiting team had a decent opening few minutes but failed to convert their chances
- But a goal each from Fati and Messi was enough to secure all maximum points for La Blaugrana
Barcelona vs Leganes ended 2-0 in favour of the home side as La Blaugrana return to their home ground after the three months break.
Ansu Fati and Lionel Messi scored in each half of the match to hand the La Liga champions the much-needed win to remain top the table.
Leganes should have gone two goals ahead in the opening 15 minutes of the match as Miguel Angel Guerrero squandered both opportunities.

Guerrero's first shot hit the post with Marc-Andre ter Stegen completely beaten in goal and the second opportunity was cleared off the line by Gerard Pique.
But Fati did not make a mistake in the 42nd minute as his right-foot shot went through the legs of Rodrigo Tarin to beat Ivan Cuellar in goal to make it 1-0.
Antoine Griezmann thought he has made it 2-0 in the 66th minute when he was on hand to finish a low cross from Fati but after the referee checked the VAR, the goal was not given.
Barcelona had most of the possession in the second half as Messi made mincemeat of the Leganes squad as he wriggled through from the midfield into the defence before he was fouled inside the box for a penalty.
The Barca captain converted the resulting spot-kick to double the lead for the champions in the 69 minute.
There were no further goals in the match as Quique Setien's side bagged all three points and increased their lead to five points ahead of rivals Real Madrid.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Lionel Messi that taken his time carefully during the lockdown to look like Gary Neville, according to Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan.
The Barcelona captain appeared clean-shave when he side thrashed Mallorca in a La Liga fixture played over the weekend.
And Morgan has weighed in on the Argentine legend looking like the former Manchester United defender.
