Cristiano Ronaldo has sent an encouraging message to Juventus fans ahead of their Coppa Italia second leg semifinal clash at the Allianz Stadium this evening.

The Old Lady will return to action for the first time since all football activities were suspended in the European country owing to the outbreak of deadly coronavirus pandemic in mid-March.

Both teams ended the first leg of the encounter 1-1 with the 35-year-old scoring a late equaliser from the penalty spot to cancel out Ante Rebic's 61st-minute strike.

However, with this night's fixture set to be played without the fans at the Stadium, the Portuguese star says: "Wherever you are, we'll always be together."

The 35-year-old is expected to lead the attack of his team later this evening and would be hoping he fires his team to the final of the Cup championship.

Ronaldo will also be hoping to increase his goal tally for the season having scored 25 goals and four assists in 32 appearances so far.

He is also eyeing his second Serie A title having joined them in the summer of 2018 after ending his nine-year reign with Real Madrid.
