Barcelona have reportedly made their intention known to Chelsea that the Blues will have to give them one player plus cash if they want Philippe Coutinho.
The future of the Brazilian footballer has been thrown into uncertainty at Barcelona as the club want to sell him at the end of the 2019/20 season.
Philippe Coutinho currently plays for Bayern Munich on loan, but the former Liverpool star has failed to impress those in charge of the German side and are ready to ship him back to Spain.
Although Chelsea are not the only club who are interested in signing Philippe Coutinho, but the Blues are reported to be topping the race for the Brazilian's signature.
According to Sport, Barcelona are ready to part ways with Philippe Coutinho this summer for the sum of £44.5m.
As it is now, it is not currently clear if Chelsea will be able to raise this amount Barcelona want for Coutinho and still add a player.
Chelsea on the other hand are also planning massive clear out this season which could make it easy for the Blues to give Barcelona one of these players.
Nevertheless, Chelsea are preparing for the resumption of the Premier League season with the target of them finishing among the top four teams.

The 24-year-old was superb last season for Ajax in the Champions League where they reached the semifinal of the competition before losing against Tottenham under Pochettino.
Paris-Saint-Germain are also interested in the signing of of Andre Onana and will make a move to sign the top African goalie this summer.
