- Mike Tyson has been offered a jaw-dropping bareknuckle fight with MMA legend Wanderlei Silva
- The former undisputed heavyweight champion reportedly refused the $18million offer
- Tyson's trainer claims the American is only open to traditional boxing
Mike Tyson has turned down a staggering $18 million compete with UFC legend Wanderlei Silva in a bare knuckle fight, reports claim.
According to Spanish news media outfit, the Baddest Man on the Planet rejected Bare Knuckle FC's mouthwatering offer because the former knockout artist prefers traditional boxing.
Tyson's coach Rafael Cordeiro stated that the former undisputed champion is currently preparing to return to a boxing match not without gloves.
"Tyson is getting ready to do a boxing match with gloves," Cordeiro was quoted as saying via Globo.
Tyson recently released a video clip on social media which showed his aggressive punch power and speed while hitting pads and bags.
And Cordeiro believes 'Iron' Mike still has the attributes of a 21-year-old fighter
"As soon as we started training I said 'My Lord.
"I didn't know what to expect from a guy who hasn't hit mitts for - I think - almost ten years.
"So, I didn't expect to see what I saw - I saw a guy with the same speed, the same power as a guy who is 21, 22-years-old.
"And I can tell; you would have to be a good guy to spar with Mike, because if you don't prepare, he is going to drop you for sure - 100%. The power is different level.
"I have trained a lot of heavyweights in my career, with not a lot of respect for everybody, but he is almost as powerful as Wanderlei Silva is right now."
