The police command in Kano has arrested a 32-year-old man, Muhammad Alfa for allegedly sleeping with 40 women without their consent in the past one year in the state.

This was disclosed by the spokesman of the Command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna.

He said Alfa was arrested on June 10, at about 2:00 a.m. when he trespassed into a house at Kwanan Dangora Town in Kano, with intent to commit the heinous crime.

According to him, the suspect is popularly known as “Mai Siket” and some of his victims referred to the suspects as an evil spirit.

Going further, Haruna said that in the course of investigation the suspect admitted forcefully having his way with over 40 women in the past one year,.

He added that some of the victims included children and an 80-year-old woman.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that the police command in Lagos had arrested young man, Adeyeye Oluwatosin Babatunde, who was caught kissing a minor in a video that has gone viral on social media.

According to a press statement made available to Legit.ng by the force' spokesman in the state, DSP Bala Elkana, Babatunde who was seen kissing his three-year-old step-sister is a student of the Lagos State University (LASU) of the Department of Botany.

Elkana disclosed that the incident happened on Tuesday, June 2, in the culprit's residence at Shagamu, Ogun state.

After a close analysis of the video by a team of detectives deployed by the Lagos police commissioner, CP Hakeem Odumosu, Babatunde was arrested on Friday, June 5, and handed over to the state criminal investigation department in Yaba for prosecution.

Expressing his gratitude to Lagosians for helping the police with needed information that led to the arrest of Babatunde, Odumosu said: "Together we can stop it, stop child abuse and crime against our women and children."
