On June 9, 2020, top Nigerian singer, Dapo ‘Dbanj’ Oyebanjo, clocked a year older to the joy of fans. Birthday messages already started pouring in for the singer even before the D-day as fans expectations were high about the celebration.

Well, unknown to fans, they were in for a pleasant surprise. D’banj is one singer whose success was quite profound, all thanks to his record label and music group at the time, Mo’Hits.

However, the Mo’Hits crew went their separate ways many years back despite the pleas of fans for them to come back together. Well, all that has changed now as former Mo’Hits members have proven that they are all in good terms with each other.

To mark the occasion of D’banj’s 40th birthday, there was a special appearance by other members of the defunct Mo’Hits group to the joy of fans.

In other news, reported that a show promoter took to social media to celebrate music star, Dbanj's 40th birthday.

Mallam Yankee recounted how he paid Dbanj N150,000 for his first show in Nigeria in 2005 and how the music star did not realise he was already quite big in the country.
