Mario Balotelli's issues worsen at the Italian League side Brescia after being denied entry to the club's training ground.

The 29-year-old forward risks becoming clubless as his Serie A employers are considering severing ties with him following his failure to attend several training sessions.

A move that frustrated the owner of the outfit Massimo Cellino and the process of termination is in progress but Balotelli's efforts to join other teammates in training were refused.

The Mirror reports that the former Manchester City attacker was turned back by security on Tuesday.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, he was said to have sent a medical report excusing him from Brescia training, but that was due since on Wednesday.

Reports claim he communicated with the club over the situation of his health but no one was in the office to deal with the necessary administration enabling him to take part.

Brescia re-signed Balotelli last August on a three-year deal though with the clause that he could leave if they relegate at the end of this season.

And as it stands, they might not be able to avoid going down, and this led to Cellino deciding to call time on their relationship early.

Cellino told the BBC's World Football program: "I think we both made a mistake. "I thought that coming to Brescia, which is his town, would commit him very much.

"At the same time, I think he was handled the wrong way by my previous coach [Eugenio Corini].

"He doesn't show up to training, he doesn't look very committed let's say, for the future of the club. That's the problem.

"Balotelli's got a contract in Serie A, but he doesn't have a contract in Serie B. So if we're relegated, Balotelli won't have a contract anymore.

"Balotelli apparently doesn't like to stay in Italy anymore because he's not acting that way."

Legit.ng earlier reported that d Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has been fired at Italian side Brescia after having a bust-up with club's president Massimo Cellino.

Brescia is the hometown of former Italy international and he was having two years left on his contract before being sacked.

There have been reports before that the club are initially planning to fire Mario Balotelli after the 2019/20 season before their latest decision.
