- N'golo Kante and Jorginho seem to have been marked for Stamford Bridge exit
- Chelsea are looking to raise funds to sign new players this summer
- They have already landed Ziyech from Ajax, while Werner is set to complete a move to join the Blues
Chelsea are reportedly planning to sell N'golo Kante and Jorginho in a bid to raise funds for more signings this summer.
The Blues already signed Hakim Ziyech from Ajax earlier this year and they are not done strengthening their squad as they look to have sealed a deal for Timo Werner.
They appeared to have triggered his £53 million release clause after Liverpool failed to do the same ahead of this summer transfer window.
However, Frank Lampard has set his eyes on another Bundesliga star he will go after when the opportunity to buy players show up in the coming weeks.
Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz is the next target for the Chelsea boss who took over from Maurizio Sarri last year.
According to Daily Star, the London club will have to cough about £75 million for the German midfielder as they hope to make up for the time they could not sign players due to the FIFA ban.
Meanwhile, regardless of Roman Abramovich's generosity towards the club whenever they want to acquire the services of any player, reports claim the club will have to sell this time to raise funds.
Willian and Pedro Rodriguez will leave on a free transfer this summer which means the Blues will watch them leave the Stamford Bridge without making a dime on their exits.
The arrival of Werner and Ziyech is expected to cover the vacuum which will be created by the outgoing stars.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek is back training after a year out through injury while Billy Gilmour's quick rise to prominence has also given Chelsea more options.
The Sun reports that Paris Saint Germain have been monitoring Kante's growth in the Premier League for some time and this might be the time to lure him to the French capital.
Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri, on the other hand, is looking for ways to reunite with Jorginho, having worked together at Napoli and Chelsea.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Chelsea are in advanced talks to sign RB Leipzig hotshot striker Timo Werner.
Werner has widely been linked with a summer departure from the Bundesliga giant, with Liverpool previously thought to be in a pole position to sign the forward.
However, according to ESPN citing sources, the Blues are now favourites to land Werner in a deal worth almost €60million.
