In less than a month, tensions have risen in the US over police brutality and continuous killings of black people across the states.
Black men and women together with their white allies took to the streets and social media to protest the uncalled for murders and demanded better treatment of people of colour.
Parents also rushed to remind their children that their skin is beautiful despite any negativity that may stem from racists.
One father named Dannie Johnson raised the bar high when he serenaded his daughter with a lovely song to remind her that her skin tone will always be like gold.
He posted a video of himself singing with his little girl on Instagram and it went viral within hours.
Danny held his baby girl on his laps and played the piano as he let her sing continuously that her black is beautiful and will always be beautiful.
He looked at his little one and urged her to sing the words repeatedly just so she never forgot how precious she was.
Dannie’s daughter abided and followed daddy’s instructions. Each time the angel said those words, she let out a wide, sincere smile.
“My black is beautiful, my black is beautiful, my black is beautiful and no one can tell I am not beautiful,” the little girl sang with so much pride in her heart.
She even danced as her father played the piano and believed that she was the fairest of them all.
