Lady who accused Uti Nwachukwu of rape deletes social media account

Kambili Korie, the lady who caused a buzz on social media after she took to Twitter to accuse media personality and actor, Uti Nwachukwu, of rape, has deleted her account on the micro-blogging platform.

Uti in a recent post, shared screenshots of the search results on Twitter, which revealed that the account does not exist; barely a few days after rape accusations and screenshots were posted to the account.

In a lengthy post, the Jara co-host described it as 'unfortunate' as the account getting deleted does not fully exonerate him from the accusation the way the courts would have done.

Part of his post reads: "I REALLY needed the opportunity to prove my innocence so this culprit could face the full penalties. However, I am still going to continue to work and cooperate with the police to get to the bottom of this.

Victims of sexual abuse need to be heard and believed, and it’s why I will continue to pursue this to prevent anyone else from making it even harder from victims to speak out."

This comes after he petitioned the Nigeria Police Force, demanding a full-scale investigation into the rape allegation leveled against him by a Twitter user.
