President Buhari celebrates Abike Dabiri-Erewa's mom as she clocks 90

- Abike Dabiri-Erewa's mother, Alhaja Sadiat Abeke Erogbogbo, is celebrating her 90th birthday

- President Buhari has taken time out of his busy schedule to wish her well on this special day of hers

Everyone loves birthdays as it that time of the year where you get special attention, lots of presents and many good wishes.

It is a day of celebration for Alhaja Sadiat Abeke Erogbogbo as she clocks a new age.

The retired teacher and businesswoman who turns 90 on June 7, 2020, is being celebrated by Nigeria's president, Muhammadu Buhari.

In a statement by a presidential aide, Femi Adesina, Buhari felicitated with the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of the woman, who was known as ‘Kind Teacher’ in the early part of her professional life.

The president's message read: "A well-rounded Nigerian, Mama Erogbogbo was born in Kano in 1930, schooled in Lagos, and later taught in Kano, Lagos and Jos, where she impacted positively on the lives of students who passed through her tutelage, hence the sobriquet, ‘Kind Teacher.’

"President Buhari salutes Mama Erogbogbo, who is mother to Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, and wishes her sound mind and good health, even as she is celebrated at 90 by all those whose lives she had touched positively.

"A devout member of Ansar Ud Deen Ladies Society, the president commends the piousness of Mama Erogbogbo to the younger generation."

Other Nigerians also joined President Buhari in wishing the 'Kind Teacher' a happy birthday.

Moyosore Oyetunji wrote: "Mama wa pe, you will not bury any of your children. I wish myself same."

"Honour to whom honour is due. Our true heroes and heroines," Lorenzo Mba wrote on Facebook.

In other news, Buhari on Friday, June 5, attended Juma’at congregational service at the State House mosque.
