Chelsea to sell 11 stars this summer in huge clear-out to fund transfers

- Chelsea are ready to sell 11 players this summer in a big clear-out

- Pedro, Jorginho and Ross Barkley are expected to be sold by the Blues

- Brazil international Willian will leave the club on a free transfer

Premier League giants Chelsea are reportedly ready to free 11 of their players this summer in what will be the biggest clear out ever for any English top flight side.

Chelsea are planning to bolster their squad for next season in which the likes of Pedro, Jorginho and Barkley are expected to leave Stamford Bridge.

Already, the Blues are on the verge of signing Werner from Leipzig who is expected to sign five years deal at the London based side.

Blues gaffer Frank Lampard has already splashed out £38 million for Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech earlier in the year.

The £92m outlay with possibly more to come like Leicester left-back Ben Chilwell means many familiar faces will be shown the door this summer.

However, Chelsea's focus this season is to finish among the top four which will make the Blues campaign next term in the Champions League.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Arsenal were given the chance to sign Chelsea winger Willian for free this summer after Real Madrid reportedly turned down his three-year asking deal to join Los Blancos.

Willian's contract at Chelsea will be coming to an end this summer and the Blues chiefs and the Brazilian have not agreed on an extension.

And should Chelsea refuse to give him another contract, then it means that the Brazil international will be leaving Stamford Bridge this summer.

According to the report by Mirror, Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is a fan of Willian, but the Frenchman does not think that his signing should be main priority.

The main issue that made Real Madrid to turn their backs at Willian is his desire to be seeking for a three-year deal which Chelsea also refused to give him.

As the situation now stands, Arsenal will now have the chance to lure Willian to the Emirates in a deal the Brazilian won't turn down since he wants to remain in London.
