- Odion Ighalo says he will leave the pitch if he is racially abused again

- The Nigerian claimed he was a victim of such act in the Chinese League

- Ighalo recently signed a new deal with Manchester United

Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo has vowed that he will walk off the pitch if he gets any form of racial abuse again in his career and the referee does nothing about it.

Racial abuse is the latest talks everywhere in the world and not because it is new, but how African-American George Floyd was killed made thousands angry and frustrated.

George Floyd was arrested by American police who gave him no chance to defend himself in which one of them even knelt on his neck until he passed out.

The act of wickedness by the American police made many storm the streets in the US calling for justice over the death of George Floyd.

While speaking with Sky Sports, Odion Ighalo made it clear that he was called names in China before he returned to England and vowed not to accept that again.

"If it happens to me I would report it to the referee and see what they do, but if they don't take action about it then I'm going to walk off because it should not be done to any player or anyone in the world.

"In one game in China I got called all sorts of names and after the game, I didn't shake his hand. I walked straight into the dressing room, I was angry, I reported it to the FA,'' Odion Ighalo explained.

After signing a new deal with Manchester United, Odion Ighalo is now preparing for the resumption of the League with hopes of netting his first Premier League goal for Red Devils.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Odion Ighalo explained that Manchester United manager Ole Solskjaer wants him to score more goals for the club considering how he talked to him after his FA Cup brace.

In March this year, Manchester United beat Derby County 3-0 in the FA Cup fifth round in which Odion Ighalo netted twice for the Old Trafford landlords.

His performance in that game made all Manchester United fans happy most especially Nigerians who are all happy seeing Ighalo wearing the Red Devils' jersey.

Ighalo showed superb effort against Derby County in the FA Cup, but his manager felt he should have scored three goals in the duel.
