- Premier League confirmed that games will resume from June 17

- Arsenal will face Manchester City while Aston Villa will host Sheffield United

- Liverpool are still topping the Premier League standings with 82 points

Premier League chiefs have finally come out with fixtures and TV schedule of matches that will be played between June 17 and July 2 as English topflight returns after three months.

Players and coaches have been in their various homes since Covid-19 stopped the League in March after Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta and Chelsea's Calllum Hudson-Odoi tested positive.

League chiefs were forced to suspend the League due to the pandemic in which there were even suggestions that the League should be cancelled.

But after much deliberations among the Premier League chiefs and clubs, they finally agreed to resume the suspended season from June 17.

This will be a good news for all Liverpool players and fans as they will be needing only two more wins for them to be crowned champions.

The likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham will also resume their fight on getting Champions League tickets.

Also, the battle for the clubs that want to escape relegation is still tough even though it will be hard for Norwich City not to go back to the Championship.

After 30 years of wait, Liverpool will now have the chance to win the League which will be a big one for manager Jurgen Klopp after winning the Champions League last term.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Odion Ighalo explained that Manchester United manager Ole Solskjaer wants him to score more goals for the club considering how he talked to him after his FA Cup brace.

In March this year, Manchester United beat Derby County 3-0 in the FA Cup fifth round in which Odion Ighalo netted twice for the Old Trafford landlords.

His performance in that game made all Manchester United fans happy most especially Nigerians who are all happy seeing Ighalo wearing the Red Devils' jersey.

Ighalo showed superb effort against Derby County in the FA Cup, but his manager felt he should have scored three goals in the duel.

Odion Ighalo's performance since when he joined Manchester United in January made the club to extend his deal till January 2021.

And the Nigerian will now be thinking of how he can continue with his brilliant game for Manchester United after netting four goals in eight games.
