Chelsea are reportedly in advanced talks to sign RB Leipzig hotshot striker Timo Werner.

Werner has widely been linked with a summer departure from the Bundesliga giant, with Liverpool previously thought to be in a pole position to sign the forward.

However, according to ESPN citing sources, the Blues are now favourites to land Werner in a deal worth almost €60million.

The publication records the west London club is closing in on the signing of the 24-year-old after they agreed to activate his release clause.
