In the wake of the sexual violence reports circulating the internet, many more women and men are coming out with their own personal experiences and it is not pretty.
A Nigerian lady identified on Twitter as @hannahh_O recently left social media users stunned and others in outrage for her, after she came out to accuse controversial Nigerian comedian, Victor Ebiye of physical violence and sexual abuse.
Hannah in a series of tweets, recounted how she dated the comedian from some part of 2018 up until 2019 and in that period, stayed in his house. And throughout that period, she claims he abused her but physically and sexually.

On why she didn't tell anyone, she wrote: "It sounded so embarrassingly stupid telling anyone that someone I was in a 'relationship' with constantly had his way with me and that leaving was not even the easiest/safest option for me at that time. No doesn't mean no for him, whenever he wanted it, he had to get it."
Hannah recounted that throughout their relationship, he would physically and sexually molest her. And whenever she attempted to leave him, he would beg.
Sometimes however, he would react violently. She alleged that one time, he threatened her with a knife, stating that he would kill her and then kill himself the next time she ever attempted to leave.
Hannah also alleged that many girls reached out to her, claiming he was sending them photos of his genitalia and telling her that she was dating a rapist.

She revealed that after she left and blocked him on social media, he stated sending her emails, asking her to stop sharing private information about him and mistakes he committed in the past.

Only a few days ago, the comedian shared a post on his Instagram page to share a post condemning rape.
He shared the post which spoke against raping women and captioned it: "How come every woman knows another woman that has been RAPED but no man knows a RAPIST?#SAYNOTORAPE #ENOFRESH"

Although the comedian is yet to publicly deny nor confirm the allegations, his comment section has since been flooded with comments from many people, most of whom believe he is guilty.
Meanwhile, 2019 BBNaija star, Khafi Kareem, recently left many fans and followers in shock after she opened up about being sexually abused by a man whose identity she kept hidden.
Joining the many women online who gave reasons why they didn't report their abusers, the reality star and brand influencer recounted that he apologized immediately after.
