Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how English Premier League clubs agreed that the number of eligible substitutes during a game should increase from three to five when the season restarts.
The 2019/2020 EPL season which was suspended since mid-March due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic is billed to resume on June 17.
Clubs approve the temporary change from three substitutes to five as it is believed that players who have not been in competitive action will be struggling to regain their fitness.
The changes were agreed by the clubs during a video conference meeting on Thursday, June 4 as further deliberations were made ahead of the restart.
