President Muhammadu Buhari's aide, Lauretta Onochie, has celebrated the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after it emerged that the anti-corruption agency has been granted access to international police's database.

The outspoken Onochie who celebrated the news on social media described the development as huge.

"Yesterday, the International Police granted @officialEFCC access to its global intelligence database. This is huge.

"With this development, EFCC now has direct access to 18 databases through which information about criminal activities across the world can be accessed. Congrats," she wrote on social media.

Meanwhile, Onochie had earlier reacted to the media reports claiming the president appointed a dead person to the board of the Federal Character Commission (FCC).

She explained that Okwuru was alive when President Buhari appointed him to serve in the board.

Her words: "Hon Tobias Chukwuemeka Okwuru was very much alive when President Muhammadu Buhari appointed him as the Ebonyi State Member in the Federal Character Commission.

"He even came to update his CV, in readiness for the appointment after the Senate screening.

"When he sadly passed away while waiting for the screening by the Senate, that information was not communicated to the Federal Government.

"His remains are not yet buried. May his soul rest in peace." had also reported that she told Nigerians how to differentiate real men of God from quacks amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

Onochie in a tweet on Wednesday, April 8, cited bible verses that seem to support the claim that God is behind good or evil.

It's now very easy to differentiate real "Men of God" from quacks If yours tells you opposite of these, he's a quack who is not in talking terms with God. Don't listen to him #StaySafe But Don't take it from me. Find out for yourself. Read: Isaiah-45: 7 Amos-3:6 Jeremiah-11:11," she tweeted.
