- Victor Osimhen has been linked with a move to join Napoli this summer
- The Nigerian star initially distanced himself from the news
- Osimhen has now told the club to hand him a five-year-deal worth €4m-a-year before considering the move
Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has given Italian League side Napoli the only condition that will make him join them anytime soon.
The 21-year-old Nigerian star who was recently crowned Lille best player of the season after scoring 18 goals and six assists in all competition has been linked with the Serie A side.
Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and a few other clubs have also shown interest in the former youth international.
According to Complete Sport, Osimhen told the Serie A club he will only join them if they give him a five-year-contract worth €4 million a year.
Meanwhile, transfer news expert, Nicolo Shira, claims Lille are not ready to entertain offers below €60m for the attacker.
”Lille ask €60M to sell Victor #Oshimen. #Napoli are really interested in him. The Nigerian striker wants a 5-years contract with wages of €4M a year. #transfers” Schira wrote on his Twitter handle.
The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations bronze medal winner moved to France last year from Belgian Pro League club Sporting Charleroi.
He got his reign with Les Dogues off to a bright note - helping them to qualify for Champions League in his debut season.
Chelsea and Manchester United are other Premier League outfits considering a move for him but they appear to be unserious about it.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Victor Osimhen's morale to continue playing at the highest level of his game has been boosted after being voted as Lille's best player for the year 2020.
This is a remarkable and great achievement for the Super Eagles forward who has emerged as a target for many clubs in the Premier League.
After the French Lique 1 was concluded in which Paris-Saint-Germain were crowned champions, Lille took to their social media page to announce the name of Victor Osimhen.
