Nollywood actor Chinedu Ikedieze popularly known as Aki has expressed gratitude to former president Goodluck Jonathan for honouring him with a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) in 2011.
Aki told The Nations that the MFR honour is one of the greatest surprises he got in his career as an entertainer.
The actor explained that Peace Anyiam-Anyiam-Osigwe, the chief executive of the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) informed him of a national award while urging him to submit some vital information in 2010.

Aki said that he didn't think anything of the award until someone informed him that his name was one of those published on a national daily as a recipient of the award.
The actor said he could not believe his eyes when he got a copy of the paper and saw his name on the category of members of the federal republic.
The entertainer expressed gratitude to President Goodluck Jonathan for remembering him as one of the change-makers in the film industry.

The film star said that her father was a retired principal and her mother was a retired headmistress and that both her parents wanted her to be a teacher as well.
She said that she did not want to become a teacher because they were not well paid so she decided to stay with her older sister in Ibadan and that was where her journey to become an actress began.
The King of Boys star said that her father eventually became proud of her when she started to win awards and he used to go and collect some on her behalf. She said that if there is anything like reincarnation, she would come back as an actor.
