- Victor Osimhen is wanted in the Premier League by Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur
- Lille are open to the deal but want £72m for the Nigerian star
- The 21-year-old netted 18 goals and six assists in all competitions last season
Arsenal have reportedly been told to pay a staggering sum of £72 million for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen this summer.
The 21-year-old was super impressive in his debut season for Lille last season - scoring 18 goals and six assists in 38 appearances across competitions.
His performances have now attracted top European managers to his attention, but the Gunners and their North London rivals appear to be in the lead for his signature.
Lille owner Gerard Lopez insisted that his outfit will not entertain any offer less than the above-coated price for the Super Eagles striker.
Les Dogues Signed Osimhen from Sporting Charleroi last summer in a deal around £10 million but his stocks have quickly risen after just one year in France.
He came in as a replacement for Nicolas Pepe who moved to the Emirates Stadium in the club's record fee around £72m.
Mikel Arteta has his eyes on the Nigerian star but his club might have to part ways with heavy transfer fee for the youngster.
Owner Gerard Lopez told the Mail: “There are multiple offers. “We turned down one English and one Spanish offer this January transfer window.
“There is a wide array [this summer] and I wouldn’t want to give the names of the clubs who are bidding. “But what I can tell you is there are multiple [offers].
Osimhen has been targeted as a replacement for want-away striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who is wanted by Real Madrid.
