Many times, people fall for the antics of those they call their friends because of the level of trust they have in them. However, it sometimes proves to be their undoing because some friends show their true colours later.
Nollywood actor, Olu Olowogemo Harejan, recently took to social media to call out a person whom he thought was a friend after he fell for his fraudulent activity.
According to Olowogemo, one Ismail Afolabi had posed to be a car dealer and befriended him. He decided to become his friend and things were good between them.
Olowogemo however said that Afolabi soon started to pitch the idea of him selling off his car in Nigeria and sending the money so that he could get a Lexus from overseas.
The actor said that he was reluctant to give in but that his friend started to pester him and even said that he had used his own money as part payment from the person he got the car from. Olowogemo then sold his car and sent the money to his supposed friend.
The friend had promised the car would be delivered by January 2019 but there has been no show of the car or his money.
In order to get justice, the actor posted Ismail Afolabi’s photos, phone numbers and Facebook username as he called on well-meaning people to help him get justice.
