The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has said the lockdown as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, would produce a lot of babies in 2021.

He revealed this during his recent Sunday sermon, where he spoke about how the pandemic has brought about great things, and the possibility of the virus leaving the world.

He said: "A lot of great things are going to come out of this lockdown. Let me advise those of you who are pastors – you are resting now; I am busy. Get ready because early next year, you’ll be having a lot of naming ceremonies. You’ll be going from house to house naming newborn babies as a result of the lockdown.”

According to the man of God, the virus isn't going to disappear completely. He stated that just like the flu and Ebola, it would subside. For Pastor Adeboye, it would take a special miracle of God for it to disappear completely.

He continued: "The good thing is that by the special grace of God, those of you listening to me now, by the time we finish, you would come out at the other end of the mountain. When you come out, I hope you will not forget to sing praises to the Lord.”
