The minister of interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has shared a secret of his success as he attributes this to President Muhammadu Buhari and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, a former Lagos governor and leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to Aregbesola, who is a former governor of Osun state, President Buhari has been an inspiration to him.
Aregbesola, who recently celebrated his 63rd birthday, also commended Asiwaju Tinubu for the roles the latter played in moulding him into who he has turned out to be today.
The minister made the revelations in a video he posted on his personal handle on Twitter.
He said: "President Muhammadu Buhari has been a major inspiration to me long before I joined his cabinet. He has been motivating me on concentrating on the masses without jeopardizing interest of the minority.
"I can never forget the role of Asiwaju Tinubu in making me into a good public administrator."
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that President Buhari had assured Nigerians that his administration is still focused on delivering on the change mandate.
The Nigerian president made the statement on Friday, May 29, on the first year anniversary of his second term in office.
The report quoted Buhari as stating that he was aware of the suffering Nigerians endure.
Buhari in a statement through his media aide, Femi Adesina, stated that he and his team are making efforts to deliver the change that Nigerians have demanded.
Legit.ng also reported that President Buhari has approved the extension of the appointment of Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem as the Acting President of the Court of Appeal (PCA).
The extension takes effect from June 3 for a further period of three months.
