Loyal friends of Nollywood actress Mide Martins have surprised her over a month after her birthday.

The actress clocked 41 on Sunday, April 12, 2020, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the film star could not celebrate her birthday the way she would have wanted to.

However, it seemed her friends had a plan to make it up to her as they came together to give her a surprise. And in the video shared online, it showed that the actress was not expecting the surprise.

According to the Yoruba actress, she was at her best friend's place when the surprise happened. She explained that she was sleeping when her friend came to wake her up.

The mother of two said that her friend told her that they should go and surprise another person who was having her birthday. By the time she got to the sitting room, Mide saw that the surprise was meant for her.

"I was actually the one the surprise was planned to celebrate my belated birthday. Never ever have I been caught unaware like this before. I couldn’t believe everyone came all the way from their houses that early morning just to show me love. Tears of Joy rolled out of my eyes because I don’t have the strength to handle too many emotions," she revealed.

The actress went on to appreciate her friends who went all the way to show her love. She also showered prayers on them, stating that their friendship will never end.

The Yoruba film star said that we often lose good people in our lives because they did us wrong. According to her, we let these people go when we could have just called them and told them about their offence. Mide noted that we often feel that they should know they offended us.
