Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Manchester United Premier League and Champions League winner in 2007/2008 season Owen Hargreaves says he would be surprised if Odion Ighalo leaves the club at the end of this month.

According to Hargreaves, Ighalo who was a shock loan signing for Man United in January, has done enough to be handed a permanent deal.

Ighalo has had a successful loan spell at Man United after arriving from Shanghai Shenhua.

The 30-year-old Nigeria striker scored four goals in his first eight appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils to prove his critics wrong.

But with the former Watford striker’s six-month loan deal set to run out at the end of this month, Shanghai Shenhua are reportedly willing to allow Ighalo join Man United for £20m.

It is left to be seen if Man United will meet their demands especially with Marcus Rashford back from injury.

However, Hargreaves expects Man United to sign Ighalo permanently as he brings qualities neither Marcus Rashford or Anthony Martial have.
