Actor Idris Elba to feature Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, others on virtual Africa Day Benefit Concert

- Africa Day Benefit Concert will be hosted by Hollywood actor Idris Elba on Monday, May 25

- The online concert will be graced by some of the greatest names in the African music scene among them Sauti Sol, Diamond Platinumz and Burna Boy

- The concert's aim is to help raise funds in support of children and families in Africa who have been adversely affected by the coronavirus pandemic

Nigeria's Burna Boy and Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz will be performing at the upcoming virtual concert featuring Hollywood actor, Idris Elba.

The online show dubbed Africa Day Benefit Concert At Home is slated for Monday, May 25, 2020.

Africa Day Benefit Concert At Home will be hosted by the popular Hollywood actor.

The charity concert has been organised by ViacomCBS Networks Africa and YouTube in partnership with the actor.

"Let us unite to celebrate #AfricaDay and raise funds for those impacted by COVID-19. Africa Day Benefit Concert hosted by me @idriselba #athome on 25th May - MTV Base’s YouTube page 6pm(CAT) & MTV Base channel 322 9pm(CAT)," wrote Elba.

The two-hour show will be streamed and broadcasted on MTV channels and on the MTV Base Africa YouTube channel.

Burna Boy and Diamond will perform alongside other artistes who include: AKA, Angelique Kadijo, Sauti Sol, Sho Madjozi, Yemi Alade, Fally Ipupa, Adekunle Gold, M.Anifest, Tofoon, C4 Pedro, Tiwa Savage, Teni and Rema.
