Legit.ng earlier reported that Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has chosen Lionel Messi as the best player in the world ahead of his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
Despite playing alongside Ronaldo at Man United, Rooney believes Messi makes football look so easy, Mirror reports.
There have been several debates on who the better player is between Messi and Ronaldo as the duo have won 11 Ballon d’Ors between themselves.
However, Rooney’s statement might not go down well with fans of his former club Manchester United as Ronaldo at some point in his career wore the jersey of the club.
