Lady cries out as dad goes missing, begs Nigerians for help

- A Nigerian lady simply identified as Bello has cried out over her father's sudden disappearance

- The lady took to Twitter to make the disclosure, saying her father left home with a Toyota Camry with 'Texas' plate number and never returned

- She gave his name as Alhaji Jimoh Akanbi Bello a.k.a Uncle JB

A lady has taken to Twitter to announce that her dad is missing, calling on Nigerians to be on the lookout for him.

The lad simply identified as Bello on the microblogging site said her dad left Owode Yewa for Idiroko, Ogun state, with a Toyota Camry with 'Texas' plate number and has not returned home.

She, however, did not say when the man left home. Bello said the missing person is identified as Alhaji Jimoh Akanbi Bello a.k.a Uncle JB.

Meanwhile, previously reported that abductors who kidnapped twins of Ibadan-based Muslim cleric, Sheik Taofeeq Akeugbagold, released them after eight days of agonising abduction.

The Sheikh announced the recovery of his children around 6am, Sunday, May 3, in a Facebook post.

He revealed that his toddlers were released to him beside a bush after eight days of being held captives by the abductor.

The cleric, however, did not tell whether a ransom was paid or not before his children regained their freedom.

His Facebook post read: "Alhamdulillah! At 5.30am of Sunday, 3rd May, my abducted twin kids are released to me beside a bush after 8days in an unknown land, Thanks to you all for your prayers and support, Jazakumullahu Khairan. Abere mi bo sinu okun, Oloun yo pada fun mi"
