Nigerian singer Viktoh is set to release new music after many years of being absent on the stage. The singer took to his Instagram page to share the good news with his fans and followers.

While many may wonder about the reason for his absence, the musician said that some things happened to him, which made him realise that life is not a bed of roses.

Appreciating God for giving him another chance, Viktoh revealed that he was betrayed by friends he called family. According to him, the experience made him feel like dying and he almost left the world.

"One thing I understand about this life is that you should always be prepared for the worse, cause life can’t just be Gucci all through! I’m not perfect tho but I’ve had friends that I call my family do and say so many bad things about me that I felt like just dying and leaving this world," he said.

According to him, he had a second thought which gave him the opportunity to connect with God.

Viktoh stated that his connection with God made him stronger and didn't let his life's challenges to weigh him down.

"I put all that energy into my craft and I got better! God gave me a second chance. I went through hell cause I was foolish! And the people I called friends rode on that and made me feel like an outcast!"

The All My Ladies crooner went on to appreciate fans who checked on him during his absence from the music scene.

"Let’s start this new journey together please continue to support me as I come out with my new project after so many years," he pleaded.
