Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi has landed himself in big trouble after he was arrested by police officers on suspicion of trying to force himself on a model after inviting her to his house during lockdown
Hudson-Odoi was arrested at the scene at about 4am on Sunday, May 17, by officers during a row with the glamour model.
The 19-year-old was nabbed after policemen stormed the scene somewhere in South West London in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The lady was said to have rang the police as well as an ambulance, but SunSport are reporting that the player has been granted bail until next month, however an investigation has commenced.
A neighbour of Hudson-Odoi’s said the model had arrived at the building about 8pm on Saturday, adding: “She looked very glamorous, like the sort of girl you’d see on Love Island.
“She had very posh Louis Vuitton luggage with her.”
The neighbour added: “The place has been crawling with police.
“A spa area on the roof has been taped off but I’ve no idea if that’s the same incident.”
Another resident said: “There have been a few gatherings happening but we didn’t know quite who was responsible."
And this is coming barely few weeks that Hudson-Odoi recovered from the dreaded coronavirus having become the first Premier League star to contract the infection.
Fans and football stakeholders have lambasted the player for bringing the game to disrepute as the notch further for him to be banned when the season resumes.
Football journalist Piers Morgan is obviously bittered about the action of the Chelsea player and has urged the FA to proscribe him.
He wrote on Twitter: "These idiots unfairly tarnish the reputations of all footballers, and make a mockery of the ‘safety first’ plan to bring back the Premier League.
"They should be told if they get caught breaking lockdown rules like this, they’re banned from playing if football restarts."
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that as fans are excited with the return of football in the wake of the coronavirus crisis, some are having mixed reactions as regards social distancing and its possibility in the game.
Borussia Dortmund’s encounter against Schalke 04 was billed to bring back the sparks, and as expected, the BVB fired from all cylinders to wallop their opponents 4-0.
However fans were left reeling as coronavirus prevention guidelines were seen on several occasions. It was earlier stated that players will not celebrate goals with team-mates.
While players maintained social distancing after each goal as they celebrate metres apart, the shocking moment was in the 5th minute when Shalke had an opportunity from a freekick at the edge of the area. The home team players formed a wall of players where social distancing was ‘ignored’.
